No worries, Bob. I turned off anonymous comments about a year ago, and have only had 2 or perhaps 3 get published since. And they were from people who'd created a Blogger identity & then embedded links in their comments.
I haven't quite pulled the trigger on this, but the spam volume is crazy. I'm getting a dozen at a time, all within a minute (probably from the same spammer douchebag)
I have never used anything but my handle if one is not prepared to put you name to something you wrote or belive in keep you writing and thoughts to yourself. AJD
@Borepatch: What triggered my decision was the near-instantaneous comment spam reply I got to one of my posts yesterday. I had just hit publish when the spam popped up at my email account. Hadn't ever had it happen that fast before.
Don't use my blog to sell your products, whether it be goods, services, or Islam. Don't insult me or other commenters. Other than that I'm pretty tolerant.
