I was 5, in 1968, when I first went fishing with Bill Hocking on his crab boat (a clinker built version of the current Neptune's Pride). He was a great seaman and great man in those days ... nothing has changed - that's obvious ... and for the next 10 or so years I fished with him and his son Rob (trawling on the "Ella"). It's been 30 years since I have seen Bill ... and its good to see he is still around and doing well.
