Items Belonging To "Great Escape" Prison Camp Airman To Be Auctioned

Story.

Made by one E. Taylor, a British airman who flew in Lancaster bombers, a wonderfully detailed scale model scrounged from items found in the camp:

Stalag Luft III prisoner-of-war camp was famous not only for The Great Escape, but also for the less-well-known (to Americans, anyway) Wooden Horse Escape.
