On The Road: Wilmington, NC

I decided to go to the beach this weekend with Sara, my girlfriend. We're in Wilmington, NC, about 200 miles from our home in the Charlotte area. We've already visited the beach (first time for me in over 15 years), eaten lunch, and visited the USS North Carolina (BB-55) memorial. Just checked into the hotel. Dinner in a couple of hours, then tomorrow more beach. Home Sunday.

    @cbullitt: unfortunately I missed it, and in fact I've never seen it, as I recall, although I have of course read the Sabatini books.
