Are The Taliban Jewish?

Scientists are checking to see if this might be the case.

It's theorized that the ethnic Pashtuns who make up the Taliban may be descendants of one of the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel, the Ephraimites.

Gods, wouldn't that be ironic?
