I pray for the mother. He had no choice, really. In that culture, and God bless 'em It's what Dad's do. Mom, she watched her whole family die before her eyes. I would not wish that on anyone.

I would have to say that as sad as that story is, I bet he would never be able to live with himself for not trying and giving his all to save them.
