It's like when the do-gooders in Alaska spend tens of thousands of dollars rescuing a seal from the Exxon Valdez oil spill. They cleaned it, the groomed it, they fed it, and finally they released it in the middle of a big celebration and press conference...only to see a Killer Whale grab it and eat it within seconds of it being returned to the ocean.
