We Have Met The Enemy And He Is Us

Brooklyn is regretting the decision to use opossums in an effort to control the rat population.

Now Brooklyn is overrun by opossums as well as the rats.

    I don't know why no one ever seems to learn that when you introduce a species that has no natural predators into an established ecosystem, they become the top predator and then a nuisance.

    So, what's the next move? Coyote and wolves to scare off the possums, then ummm bears to chase off the wolves?
