    Wait, wait, wait....the injuns owned slaves !?!?!?!?!?

    I thought that was ONLY a white man construct!!?!?!!?

    AND the injuns fought with the rebs??!?!?!!

    I thought only white guys fought FOR slavery!?!?!?!?

    I need to go to my corner and hum to myself. This doesn't sound like the narrative I've heard.

    @Steve: Yep. Stand Watie was a general in the Confederate Army, and a chief of the Cherokee Tribe.
