...he'd end up in Muslim hell?
A pair of Alabama conservation enforcement officers think they've come up with the perfect way for avid hunters to honor their loved ones for eternity.
Officers Thad Holmes and Clem Parnell have launched Holy Smoke LLC, a company that will, for a price, load cremated human ash into shotgun shells, and rifle and pistol cartridges.
It's the perfect life celebration for someone who loves the outdoors or shooting sports, Parnell says.

I've always thought it would be great to have my ashes shot out of a cannon.
@BobG: That's what happened at Hunter S. Thompson's funeral.
My instant shock at this was related to only one thing. The price! $850.00 to do one case of shells with one pound of cremains. Really? A case of good dove loads goes for about $70.00 when I catch it on sale. I'd rather my friends buy 4 or 5 cases, have a big shoot, scatter my remains downrange out of a can, and spend the rest of it on good whiskey.
@ASM826: For that price I'd want to personally see them load cremains into cartridges. I remember a story of an air service that was supposed to fly over the Atlantic to scatter cremains, they took people's money and stored the cremains in a garage, never going on the contracted scattering missions.
