Just had an idea for a Western story featuring a protagonist named Dan Banner. He's a serious sort of fellow and wants to be taken seriously, but after a drunken cowhand refers to him as "Ban Danner," he is subsequently branded with the new name forever and laughed out of every saloon he enters.
