You see these stories often. Because of the specific data usually found on such rings - - school name, year, and the owner's initials - - it is easier to trace the former owner than with other types of lost jewelry.

When A Token Of Your Youth Returns

In 1949 Henry Leland, fresh out of the Navy, stopped at Geneva-On-The-Lake near Cleveland for a few days off on his way home. While there, Leland's wallet turned up missing. 60 years later, it was found and returned to Leland.
