Pope Francis tweeted this a few minutes ago:
Translated from the Romanian it reads "Your hovercraft is full of eels. How would you like to come back to my place bouncy-bouncy?"

Who's Doing the Leading, Exactly?
Pope Francis teaches about a line from the Our Father, "Lead Us Not Into Temptation."
I've been saying the prayer by rote all these years, but never really thought much about the line, choosing to interpret it as meaning "Do not allow us to fall into temptation," which would make more sense that the actual wording, which seems to indicate that God the Father is wayward and must be nagged to keep us on the path of righteousness.

...the Pope or the Jew?

Now He'll Have To Say Three Our Fathers and 4 Hail Mary's In Confession
The Pope uses the wrong Italian word during a public blessing.
With millions of people hanging on your every word, it was a slip-up Pope Francis would really have preferred not to make.
While giving his weekly blessing from the Vatican, the Argentinian mistakenly uttered the word 'f***' in Italian before quickly correcting himself.
But within seconds his mistake was posted on dozens of Italian media websites and YouTube and had gained millions of worldwide hits as it went viral.
The words the Pope stumbled on were 'caso' (example) and 'cazzo' which means 'f***' in Italian and often trips up those not used to speaking the language.
I'm sure he feels it was a simple mistake and that he's not expecting some sort of Spanish Inquisition...

He Smote Them Hip and Thigh
"Pope Francis says he once worked as a bouncer."
Judges 15:8: And he smote them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock Etam.
No word on whether His Holiness used the jawbone of an ass.

update: His statement:
I am well aware that this ministry, due to its essential spiritual nature, must be carried out not only with words and deeds, but no less with prayer and suffering. However, in today's world, subject to so many rapid changes and shaken by questions of deep relevance for the life of faith, in order to govern the bark of Saint Peter and proclaim the Gospel, both strength of mind and body are necessary, strength which in the last few months, has deteriorated in me to the extent that I have had to recognize my incapacity to adequately fulfill the ministry entrusted to me.
