I Wonder Which Would Have a Higher Body Count?

I'm pondering which would likely have the higher body count: a civil war to prevent the US from becoming a Communist country, or peacefully allowing the US to become a Communist country, with the body count coming down the line as Communism works its usual murderous magic?

A civil war at least has the advantage of killing Communists from the get-go, and possibly killing enough of them that they're never able to rise again. Letting Communism take hold peacefully will result in the death of the US we (the deplorables, the rurals, the white trash, the flyovers, call us what you will) grew up loving, with ourselves marked for gulags and firing squads by the Communist urban dwellers.

And yeah, I'm not willing to call them just Democrats or Liberals or Progressives or Democratic Socialists any more. They're fucking Communists, and we need to start calling them this - - even their propaganda wing, the journalists of the MSM. Fucking. Communists.

Well, On the First Day With Democrats In Charge of the House of Representatives...

...they've already filed impeachment charges against President Trump, proposed a bill to replace the Electoral College with direct popular vote for President/Vice President, and proposed a bill to prohibit the President from using the pardon power to pardon himself, his family, or members of his staff.

Oh, and one Muzzy Democrat Representative has changed the map in her office to eliminate Israel, replacing it with a fictional "Palestine."

Occupy Charlotte: The Usual Gang of Commie Symps and Useful Idiots

Charlotte's own muckraking journalist Tara Servatius does the work that the Charlotte Observer isn't prepared (willing?) to do:

The Charlotte Observer did a fabulous job of painting the Occupy Charlotte protesters who descended upon the city this weekend as your righteously disgruntled, average-guy neighbors next door.

They aren’t. If they really do plan to camp out and continue their protest for a year (a length of time that conveniently coincides with the re-election of Barack Obama, which is their real goal) the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department better brush up fast on who these people really are.

While there were no doubt well-intentioned, useful idiots who showed up for the protests this weekend, the leaders of Occupy Charlotte, per their own website, are following a well-known, hardcore, anarchist communist playbook. The founders of the Ruckus Society, whose materials the Occupy Charlotte protesters have linked to on their website and suggested their followers follow, played a major role in the planning of the violent, destructive Seattle occupation of 1999.

Seattle protesters did $3 million of property damage, caused $17 million in lost sales due to the violence and looting and cost Seattle and surrounding cities over $10 million, $7 million of which was due to extra policing costs to control violence by protesters.

No surprise there, given that the founders of the Ruckus Society are self-avowed communists dedicated to the overthrow of capitalism using violent means.They first achieved fame for putting spikes in trees so loggers who harvested them would be impaled. They seriously hurt several people. They were also leaders in the radical anarchist environmental movement.

...Radley links to a gallery he made of a memento park in Budapest, Hungary, where the Hungarians placed all of the Soviet-era statuary that had accumulated, rather than destroy it, as happened throughout the rest of the former Soviet Bloc countries.

Even a gift shop, and I note with amusement that you can buy McDonald's-branded shirts there. Apparently that's a fashion statement in Budapest.
