Three British ex-military men, hired as security for a cargo ship transiting the pirate-infested Gulf of Aden, fought off pirates with molotov cocktails improvised from light bulbs and Greek fire improvised from paint thinner, ignited with a flare gun.
Apparently some sort of international law prevents ships from carrying weapons for defense, even in pirate-infested waters. That law needs to be done away with as quickly as possible.
