Just This Minute...

...I looked out of the window and saw a deer in the driveway. 2:20 p.m. on a bright, sunny Thursday afternoon.

So under normal circumstances they only come 'round on cloudy days?

@Rev. Paul: In this part of the country white-tailed deer are mostly nocturnal. You rarely see them during daylight hours, and then usually at dusk. We have a Duke Energy power pylon right-of-way running behind the house, so we see deer occasionally as they travel up and down the corridor to forage.
