Hotel Work

The Wachovia Open is currently playing here in Charlotte, my hotel is accommodating some of the caddies, who typically have been rising early (before 4 a.m.) to leave for the golf course.

One of the caddies called at 3:00 a.m. for a 3:45 wakeup call. Yes, he'd been awake all day. I programmed the wakeup call.

At 4:00 his friends called him, and finally managed to wake him up. When he came down he immediately began dressing me down for not programming his call, then walked out before I could respond. I checked the telephone log, and sure enough, he had slept through three wakeup calls, five minutes apart, at 3:45.

I documented everything and left it for the front office manager. I hope the little jerk tries to show his ass again.
