It's been my contention all along that Obama has been campaigning as a white man, and avoiding all situations that would cause him to be perceived as black. This story only confirms that original assessment.
He still has problems appealing to working-class white voters, though, because of his leftist positions on gun control and abortion. You'll know he's really desperate for those votes when you see him in a commercial sitting in a recliner, wearing a wife-beater t-shirt and drinking a beer out of the can.
