Mexican Comic Book Removed From Wal-Marts, Offensive To Blacks

HOUSTON, July 8 (UPI) -- African-American activists are demanding that a Wal-Mart store in Houston remove a popular Mexican comic book that they see as insulting and racist.

The latest issue of Memin Pinquin incensed some shoppers because the main character in the long-running series is a black boy with a face that has ape-like characteristics.

Here's what he looks like:

Yah, I can see that offending people, it's an old-fashioned way of drawing black people; pretty much caricature, when it comes down to it. You can tell it's old-fashioned because Memin has doesn't have his hat on backwards and his pants hanging down showing his ass.

What IS it with those low hanging pants?

Just say no to crack.

Apparently it's a jailhouse fashion, where belts are confiscated to prevent hangings.

As for crack, Duluth Trading Company offers crack spackle. *grins*
