An Ohio father has been given a 16-year prison sentence for abusing his kids with shock collars intended for training dogs.
A good idea taken to an extreme. There's plenty of useless individuals in our local schools who could probabably be improved with a bit of dog-collar stimulus.
I note that it's not a new idea. Novelist Carl Hiaasen used it as a plot device in his book Stormy Weather.
