...on accepting the existence of President Barack Obama's "long form" birth certificate.
Which, by the way, can be seen here.
Not satisfied with the mischief he's already caused, Donald Trump is now demanding the President's college transcripts.
Donald Trump: doing the vetting the MSM failed to do in 2008.

Well...If you're on a roll.
I'm already seeing ,,,ummm,,,falsers(?) saying that that certificate is fake.
I'm sure he was born here, but being the prick that he is- just wanted to stir up as much ,,,distraction as he could- so we wouldn't be looking as close as we should to his agenda
The MSM failed to demand proof of Obama's birth in 2008, despite receiving proof. Huh. Does your hatred of liberals trump common sense? Trump, get it?
@wally: I said the MSM failed to vet Obama, I wasn't specifically referring to the birth certificate, but to the whole package of life documentation that they would demand from a Republican candidate. When Sarah Palin was chosen as John McCain's running mate, we're told, the MSM immediately sent teams of journalists up to Alaska to dig up dirt. Where were the similar teams of journalists dispatched to Hawaii, Chicago, Kenya, and Indonesia to investigate Obama? Who vetted Obama? The Hillary Clinton campaign, that's who. The MSM was busy getting fitted for their sycophantic kneepads.
You may have meant to say that, but what you said was that Trump did what the MSM failed to do. What Trump did was demagogue one of the more idiotic conservative obsessions of recent times.
@wally:
*cough*(Trig Trutherism)*cough*
I'm afraid that one went right over my head. Just as well, I'm thinking.
@wally: Google is your friend. To be brief, Trig Trutherism is the scurrilous theory that Trig Palin is not the son of Sarah Palin, but is the son of Palin's daughter Bristol, and thus is Palin's grandson, rather than her son. The most prominent of the Trig Truthers is blogger Andrew Sullivan, former editor of The Nation, former columnist for The Atlantic, now a blogger for The Daily Beast.
The most recent mention of Trig Trutherism was a vile Wonkette piece in which it was implied that Trig was the son of Bristol Palin via her rape by her father, Todd Palin.
So I guess you're saying that this "Trig Trutherism" thing equates to, and thus cancels out, birtherism. This is one of the flaws of your beloved "tu quoque" strategy. No thinking person would call these two phenomena equal.
@wally: I brought up Trig Trutherism to counter your "one of the more idiotic conservative obsessions of recent times" remark. Conservatives have no monopoly on idiotic obessions, I hope you notice. And the MSM practice of playing down liberal conspiracy theories while playing up conservative conspiracy theories blows holes in your "equal" argument. And, if we're going to talk "equal," I'll mention 9/11 Truth conspiracy theories, which has a far heavier leftist investment than Trig Trutherism does, with actors (Rosie O'Donnell, Charlie Sheen), politicians (Jesse Ventura), and (former) presidential czars (Van Jones) as believers in this particular conspiracy.
@wally: and your arguments ignore the underlying point: if President Obama had been more forthcoming with his life record, as presidential candidates have been in the past, this would be a non-issue. He hasn't, and the MSM has given him a pass on it, as they do all his flaws.
If you show me a poll that says 40% of the Democratic party believes 9/11 was a conspiracy, I'll revise my opinion that this is a silly red herring.
@wally: Here ya go, slick:
http://www.911truth.org/images/911TruthZogbyPollResults-DistributionByCategory.pdf
Scroll down to p. 5. 51.8% of those identifying themselves as Progressive and 60.9% of those identifying themselves as Liberal think the US and 9/11 commission were engaged in a cover-up.
@wally: and p. 6 breaks it down by political party, with both GOP and Dems at over 40%, with slightly more Dems than GOP believing this conspiracy theory.
Wow, I stand corrected. Stunning figures. I had no idea that so many liberals believe in idiotic conspiracy theories too. Of course, that doesn't change what I said about birthers. I never claimed that they alone are idiots, just that they are idiots.
@wally: I'll repeat what I said in a previous debate we had over the Birther issue: the number of hardcore believers that Obama was not born in the US is smaller than the poll number indicate. Some people answered affirmatively because they were uncertain and there was no other poll answer to which they could adhere; still others answered affirmatively simply out of Pavlovian dislike of Obama and the Left. I'm sure that the 9/11 poll breaks down similarly.
@wally: and I'll further point out that Democrat party mean IQ is pulled down by being the party of choice of African-Americans. (and I think it's safe to say, based on test scores throughout the country, that the blacks have lower average IQ scores than the "dumb rednecks" that liberals love to put down.)
@wally: and I see that A. Barton Hinkle at Reason magazine is engaged in some of the same debate as you and I:
http://reason.com/archives/2011/04/29/whats-behind-the-birther-nonse/email
Got to go downtown and look at some light rail cars, but I look forward to visiting the Hinkle link. And I wouldn't dream of touting the Dems' IQ level.
The Hinkle article was very entertaining.
