...I've just questioned how much of the change is mankind's fault.
In the sherry wine-making region of southern Spain (where I lived for three years), the grape harvest is coming sooner, and affecting the wine that results.

Revenge of the Munchkins
Comes the Global Warming Apocalypse, your best bet for surviving is to be a midget:
The joint editor of the Climate News Network is warning that in as little as two centuries global warming will lead to “mass extinction,” which may be good news for residents of “The Shire.”
“Hobbit-sized humans, able to exist on less nourishing food, will have the best chance of survival in a warmer world, scientists say,” said Paul Brown, a journalist and author, in an article entitled, “Mass extinction forecast with 6C temperature rise,” published on Jan. 7.
Brown bases his claim on findings by the “Bighorn Basin Coring Project,” a group of scientists from the United States, the UK, Germany, and Netherlands studying a “period 55 million years ago when the Earth’s temperature rose suddenly.”
“Dwarfism is again expected to be a successful strategy for the survivors, enabling humans, animals and insects to mature earlier with less food and so reproduce before they starve,” he said.

What About the Smoke? Where's the Smoke?
Huge mirrors in the sky will be the future of tackling climate change, claim scientists.
Sometimes the material writes itself, folks.

Meanwhile, At Wikipedia...
...the Chief Inquisitor responsible for enforcing orthodoxy on the subject of Climate Change has been removed from his high position for abuse of his authority.
via Borepatch.
If the science is settled, why is a Chief Inquisitor needed, anyway?

Maybe Those Islands Won't Sink After All
You know which islands I'm talking about, those low-lying islands that will sink beneath the sea as global warming causes sea levels to rise?
Turns out that the islands respond to rising sea levels by growing.
Hoodah thunkit?
Not climate scientists, apparently...

Pizzly? Grolar Bear?
Up in Canada, Global Warming is causing havoc with the local bear population.
And you know what that means:

I Don't Know, But I Think It Will Be Cold...
...when the volcano blows.
Why you should be worried about the antics of a volcano in far-off Iceland:
"When Katla went off in the 1700s, the USA suffered a very cold winter," says Gary Hufford, a scientist with the Alaska Region of the National Weather Service. "To the point, the Mississippi River froze just north of New Orleans and the East Coast, especially New England, had an extremely cold winter.
Mr. Buffett, from before he was a corporate brand and still had his mustache, the shaving off of the one signaling the beginning of the other. Not certain, but that looks like Timothy B. Schmidt (Eagles) on bass; he played with Buffett for a period, I saw them together in Norfolk back around 1983.

So The Science Ain't Nowhere Near Settled?
All that loss of arctic sea ice? Wind blew it out to sea. That's the new scientific theory.
The answers, my friend, are blowing in the wind...

UK Science Advisor: Stop Exaggerating Climate Change...
...stop treating climate skeptics with contempt, be willing to show your research and understand that skepticism is what science is all about.
Finally, the beginning of sanity.
update: bad link, fixed now. Thanks, Borepatch!

Up In Fairbanks...
...a two-ton ice sculpture of former Vice President Al Gore is blowing hot air, presumably about man-made global warming:

I can't figure out if Gore is supposed to be Snow Miser or Heat Miser.

Who You Gonna Believe, The Stoats Or ManBearPig?
In UK, the fur of stoats (a kind of weasel) is turning white sooner than expected, thus forecasting a cold winter.
When asked about this, former US Vice President and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Al Gore (ManBearPig) scoffed, saying that stoats were just dumb animals and hadn't seen his movie, thus were misinformed about climate change.

Stoat, or Ermine (depends on use)

ManBearPig.
