Pathetic.

The US Navy wants to start awarding ribbons for doing well at your annual PT test.

As a former sailor, I find the idea repugnant. Just my two cents' worth.

@Rev. Paul: we used to call them geedunk ribbons when I was active. I think the Air Force actually awards a ribbon for getting through boot camp. As far as I'm concerned, the only award you should earn for making it through boot camp is your dog tags. You don't need anything more than that.
