Comment In Passing, Devil's Advocate Edition
Those of you who oppose abortion and would like to see Roe V. Wade overturned by the Supreme Court would do well to remember that this would make it perfectly acceptable for liberals to advocate for similar Supreme Court overturn on the Heller and McDonald gun rights cases.

Except that Roe V wade is bad law, and heller/macdonald isn't. Read the decisions and decide for yourself; there is no constitutional basis for roe v wade, and none was cited, and it passed solely due to a twisted and bizzarre manipulation of misapplied logic.
@og: Liberal activists on the Supreme Court would find it just as easy to overturn Heller and MacDonald as they did to find a "right" in the Constitution to Abortion. Indeed, Heller and MacDonald only passed by barest majority. Thus the importance of denying President Obama the opportunity to replace Justice Scalia or Justice Thomas, who are no longer young men.
