UK Schools: So Busy Babysitting That No Time Is Left For Education

"Under Labour, classes in personal, social, health and economic education (PSHE) have been introduced, covering subjects such as sex education, teenage pregnancy, alcohol and drug abuse, racism, bullying, managing finances and healthy eating. New-style lessons in citizenship have also been put on the National Curriculum."

The result is that the kids can't distinguish between Nelson and Cromwell.

Another cautionary tale from the Old Country.

Trust me, it's no better in some parts of this country. Mrs. TOTWTYTR could tell you stories that would make you weep.

@TOTWTYTR: I know. It's why we can make a TV show in this country called "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"
