in Charlottesville, to be exact - - the home of the University of Virginia and the location of Thomas Jefferson's home Monticello - - has banned the Sherlock Holmes novel A Study In Scarlet by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle because - - wait for it - - it's derogatory toward Mormons.

Not too worry, if either Romney or Huntsman look like have a chance at the Republican nomination, the media will more than make up for UV's action with their torrent of Mormon-bashing.
I'd have thought this post was a joke ... guess I was having a flashback to the days when we had a Republic.
