Our snack machine at the hotel is working on the charity principle tonight: when you feed in coins, they drop to the coin return slot, but the drop registers as if it were a legitimate payment, and your snack drops once you have fed in the required amount. Sort of like a slot machine that pays off on every pull of the handle, plus you get your original payment back.

I'll have to bring this to the attention of management tomorrow.
