In this case, I guess abscess does make the heart grow fonder. Then again, since he's suing, maybe not.
I wonder how difficult it is to successfully sue when the government runs health care?
@TOTWTYTR: any military man can tell you that: you can't sue when the government runs health care. It's called the Feres doctrine, if I remember correctly.
I think it's different in UK, since the guy is suing there. Here in the US the government will be conflicted; since there is a disproportionate number of lawyers in the Congress, they'd like to make it easy on their fraternity brothers to make money; at the same time, there won't be any savings or reform if citizens are allowed to sue for every case of government medical malpractice.
