Points Awarded For Intention, Deducted For Execution

A Colorado sheriff's deputy crashed his police cruiser after being bitten by a rattlesnake.

His intentions were good, as he was trying to remove the snake from an area where children were playing. His execution was bad in that it appears he wasn't prepared to capture the snake safely and ended up bitten.

Moral: the old Boy Scouts standby, Be Prepared.

Note: please don't comment to the effect dood, he shoulda just shot the snake. Snakes play an important role in vermin control, and not killing one unless absolutely necessary is to be commended.
