Can We Just Have Paregoric Back, Please?

A federal government panel recommended banning Vicodin and Percocet pain medications, saying that the Acetominophen blended into each of them causes liver damage.

How about pure forms of oxycodone and hydrocodone, then? Or give us back paregoric, I remember pleasant experiences with paregoric as a child.

Geez, if the goverment had its way, our doctors would have to just look at us sternly and say "Walk it off, ya pussy."

Funny, for my last neck operation, they prescribed me a nice dose of Percocet sans any added sans Acetominophen. No major stomach issues and I didn’t have to worry about the possible damage to my liver. Since I had taken large amounts of pain meds in the past for two previous back operations that took a while to schedule, I was told to be cautious if I ever required having to do so again. I had to specifically ask for an “unbuffered” Percocet but got it.
