Congress plans to pass "Cash For Clunkers" legislation that would give car owners up to $4500 to get rid of old cars as incentive for purchasing a new car.
Damn, $4500 is almost half of the sticker price of my 1993 Nissan Sentra when it was new. And current book value on the Sentra is less than $1000.
Do I really want to screw my fellow taxpayers like that? What have they done to deserve it?
