"The thing about crony capitalism is there’s no shortage of people wanting to be cronies."
Say Uncle brings the snark.
That's the real secret behind the OWS protesters, after all. All they really want is a sinecure. Is that too much to ask?

Well, this makes a nice companion piece to my Facebook post about stereotyping the Tea Party, doesn't it? You know, the one you "liked"?
@wally: I didn't really have any particular party in mind when I linked the quote, Walt. Both Republicans and Democrats engage in crony capitalism.
Do I really have to quote you to yourself? "That's the real secret behind the OWS protesters, after all. All they really want is a sinecure. Is that too much to ask?"
@wally: funny, I thought your facebook post was about how media outlets manipulate public opinion by focusing on the most outrageous member of a group as a spokesman.
And my statement about the OWS protesters wanting sinecures is my opinion based on reading reports of their demands and behavior. If that amounts to stereotype, so be it.
Picking out an outrageous member of a group and have them stand for the entire group is a form of stereotyping, yes. Didn't think I'd have to explain that to you.
And if the sources of the reports you have read make it sound like all the OWS protesters are looking for sinecures, then, yes, they too are engaging in stereotyping.
